About

Patrick's Island is a peaceful canal front community set on the North Sound in Grand Cayman.  It comprises over 150 lots in the Red Bay/Prospect area approximately 10 minutes from central George Town.  Lots surround large canal waterways, offering quick access to the North Sound and waters surrounding Grand Cayman.

The neighbourhood is considered by residents and non-residents to be a desirable place in which to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends and community.  Our greatest asset is our residents and owners, who create a welcoming environment to live, work and play.

History
Patrick's Island was developed in the late 1980's through the mid 1990's.  The original Phase 1 consisted of Patrick's Avenue, extending directly on the North Sound.  Phase 2 then was built to include lots on Amity and Poindexter Streets.  Phase 3 followed in the early 1990's with the introduction of lots on Windswept Drive, Swansong Crescent and Mallard Drive.  In the mid 1990's, lots were added to Reverie Drive as Phase 4.  Shortly thereafter, the Palm's at Patrick's Island was developed, which is a community of 16 condominiums.  As owners can build at their own pace, the original phases are slightly more developed than the later phases.

Homeowner's Association
The Patrick’s Island Homeowners Association (the “HOA”) was re-established in 2019 as a Foundation for the benefit of all registered owners within the Patrick’s Island development.  It represents a community of neighbors working together in a voluntary association to achieve a safe and sound quality of life.  The HOA oversees and manages common areas and amenities in the neighborhood, with an aim to positively impact community living.  Patrick's Island is self managed and governed with a 9-person Board of Directors, comprised of residents from all areas of the community.
